Event Pets: Bees and Anti-Bees

Special events introduce limited-time pets:

  • Bee Egg (purchased with Honey) – includes Bee, Honey Bee, Bear Bee, Petal Bee, Queen Bee.
  • Anti-Bee Egg – includes Wasp, Tarantula Hawk, Moth, Butterfly, Disco Bee.

These pets often have unique mutation effects like Pollinated, Honey Glazed, Rainbow, or Disco fruits.

Pet Management: Feeding and Slots

At first, you can only have 3 pets active. Trade extra pets to Raphael at the Pet Shop to unlock up to 5 additional slots.

To feed pets, click on them and choose Feed while holding a fruit or crop. The amount of hunger restored depends on the food’s size and rarity.

Pets stop growing if their hunger bar reaches 0, so always keep them fed. Larger and mutated fruits restore more hunger, helping pets age and improve abilities faster.

Final Thoughts

Pets are essential to long-term success in Grow a Garden. From digging up rare seeds to duplicating crops or applying powerful mutations, they make your garden more profitable and fun. Prioritize hatching eggs when you can afford them, focus on the best pet per tier, and don’t forget to feed them regularly so their abilities keep improving.
